- Before entries opened we committed to a secret seed by publishing its SHA-256 hash:

- The draw shuffles that list with a deterministic Fisher–Yates driven by SHA-256(seed:counter) and takes the first 8.
- The seed stays secret until after the draw — that's what stops anyone (including the store) from steering the result.
